Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber bragging about deceiving the American people, who he thinks are stupid.
“You can’t do it politically. You just literally can not do it. Transparent financing...I mean this bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scored the mandate as taxes the bill dies. Okay so it was written to do that. ....Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever but basically that was really really critical to get this thing to pass...”
Any guess when this was recorded?
I dunno but it just now surfaced.
There are a few videos of this guy saying things that should in themselves cause repeal. The sad thing is somehow, someway it will be deemed inadmissible.
Did you see that one look the guy on the other end gave him?
LOL
He thought it was a pantload too.
Sometime before Nov 1, 2013. See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOfVv-ePcng
Gruber personifies 'Rat.
Thanks.
“American people, who he thinks are stupid”
Well, who voted for Obama twice........even the dead are not to bright
How did it surface?
Anyone know the identities of the other two guys in this video?
Robert Town (UPenn), Mark Pauly (Wharton), Jonathan Gruber (MIT)
Let’s say it like it is. “Lack of transparency” is a euphemism for “lying”. So what he said is, “I would rather have this law (Obamacare) by lying to the American people and getting it, then not lying and have them reject it”. We all knew it was true about the democrats that passed this monstrosity including Obama, but it’s amazing to see someone come right out and say it.
I'm no lawyer, but I believe you are right. It's a fraud on the public, but not a fraud on the Court (which pisses them off), because it's "just his opinion." Since he was a major architect of the plan, any normal person would think this was vitally important, but it isn't in the Congressional Record of deliberations, not in the law. He said "F You" to American citizens, but I guess that's free speech, not evidence.

Thank You.
Are you aware that Ezekiel Emanuel is head of health services at the University of Penna?
Anytime you see the word “Plenary” you know it is a leftwing conference.
Thank you; probably Dean Ezekiel “we have gloves” Emmanuel in the audience then.
