I always use Bosnia for an example. None of them thought it could happen there either. It did. Americans are spoiled. But it will happen to us because we created the ideal environment for it.
But Bosnian people (I’m using Bosnian in the broad sense) bailed themselves out after the SHTF and we will too. Fewer big screens and 90 inch TVs, but we’ll make it. And with another couple hundred years before our GGGreat grandkids forget the lessons too.
I wonder; it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
This sucks for Americans who grew up in the eighties; those days of opportunity will never return.
