"Thanks for the message, it is appreciated as always... and for passing on the email from the other FReeper with the TBI! I wanted to wait to write back until he had been transferred from St. David's to CORE.
The move went smoothly on the 6th, and Mom has been to visit a few times already in the days since then. He already fits in very well at the new facility and I'm told that he loves to be out in the halls and activity areas in his wheelchair, sitting and doing his best to visit with the staff and the other patients. He is in therapy Monday through Friday for quite a bit of his day, and has a little more time for R&R on the weekends.
You are certainly right - there has been SO much rain down their way! I'm sure he talked about the lake from time to time, it was so far down for the last few years (something like 60 or 70 feet?) With all of the rain they have had it literally brought it up 50 feet in a couple of weeks! It was amazing, and is pretty close to being completely full. I will tell Mom to pass on to him that the FReepers have been asking about all the rain and that big lovely lake of his. :)

Thanks for the latest update. I’m glad he’s settled in his new facility, and getting around to visit others. It’s probably done a lot to help in his recovery.

You won’t believe it, but I was just wondering about Arrowhead last night. I’m very glad to hear that he’s continuing to improve. By the sound of it, he’s about ready to resume posting at FR.
