We aren’t tamed, it’s just that we’re all broke. We can’t compete with the chamber of commerce.

When they told you there was no such thing as a stupid question, they lied. This headline proves it.

Tamed?
Has the Constitution ceased to exists? Have people lost interest in defending it? Have good wholesome values ceased to exist?

The question is not if the TP has been tamed or not, but if patriots have used their voting muscle to force the corrupt feds back in to their constitutional Article I, Secton 8-limited power cage. And at this point the answer is definitely no imo.

Everytime I see insulting things written about “the Tea Party” I know who wrote it is an idiot. The Tea Party is nothing more than a group of fed up American voters. Everytime an idiot attacks them they are attacking average Americans.

I’ll answer the headline writer this way: Dunno, why don’t you ask a Tea Party member that you know? Because the answer inevitably is “I don’t know any.” It shows.

I'm hoping that some Freeper (
and of course I nominate Impy) with a lot of time on their hands will give us a summary of the new Senate and House members from a Tea Party point of view. We may not have succeeded in picking the most conservative candidates but are we really all that unhappy with the folks we ended up with?
I'm not sure. I'm really not. Someone needs to give us some feedback on just how RINOish these guys and gals are.
And ... if the GOPe types out there think this WAVE ELECTION would have happened without the support of the Tea Party leaning Republicans they are just kidding themselves. This election was not a victory for the GOPe. But it was a huge defeat for Obamanism.

Had its leaders not allowed the

movement to be labeled by the enemies of freedom as a Tea
Party, then the movement itself probably would have attracted and retained more ordinary citizens.
As it is, a new anti-"progressive" movement needs to emerge which will call youth to the Framers' Constitution and its enduring principles and limitations on coercive government power.
The ideas of liberty, as articulated by the Framers of that Constitution, are as revolutionary and exciting today as they were in 1776 and 1787!
Those who love freedom must not allow its enemies to define it, nor to redefine its terms to suit their own obsession with power over "the People."

Has the Tea Party been tamed? Semi-neutered. Now that they have won, the establishment will pat the Tea Party on the head and tell them to go away and not bother the adults. Why should they do otherwise? The establshment has proven that they can do whatever they want to in order to cram the candidate of their choice down the Tea Party's throat, and in the end the conservatives will still come out and vote for them.
