In the thread the original Salon article was postedin I opined this:
Salon wants so very bad to be taken seriously as a news outlet but can’t be bothered to learn basic math and logic skills.
Abbott won the women vote. He won the white women vote but lost the black and brown women vote.
Nobody says that it’s unfair to call the football team with the most points the winner because they were outscored 3 out of 4 quarters.
A win is a win. Suck it losers.
I think what the author of the Salon article is saying is that any woman who voted for Abbot isn’t really a woman. And therefore her vote doesn’t count.
