People who voted for the GOP in the congressional elections this week may be surprised to learn they chose a militant climate change denier to oversee federal efforts to deal with climate change.

They might, except for the related matters that only one of the "elections", plural, was relevant to this change, and that the "climate change denier" ran unopposed.

Except for those matters, yes, I am sure that every GOP voter across the country is shocked, shocked at the thought of the what the GOP ascendancy means for the near-term future of our country.

oops, I got my states mixed up. I was thinking Alabama for some reason.
