Oh, and something a lot of people missed
In another state legislature race, Tea Partier Matt Rinaldi won decisively on Tuesday
*************
Some of this happens legitimately I think but needs to be cleaned up. If a person
moves from one state to another and registers to vote in the new state then that
registrant can be registered in two states at least for some period of time. We
need an effective method of notifying voter registrars of people who have moved,
died, felons, etc and they need to spend the time/effort to keep their roles up
to date. It's a matter of spending the time/money to get the voter roles current
and then keeping them up to date shouldn't be that hard.
Ping.

I met the Republican - David Hamilton, who was running for the spot at our July 4th parade. He planned to bring our sity back into the GOP fold. I assumed he would easily win, as we almost never elect 'rats in our area. When my wife and I early voted, he was at the polling place introducing himself and handing out literature. He not only lost; he got buried:
This puzzles me because with so many voters voting a straight "R" this year, how did our guy lose so big? In my neighborhood, there were not many yard signs for the top candidates. A couple of die-hard rats had alternating Wendy Davis and Leticia Van Der Putte signs. I think I saw one Abbott sign. The predominant signs in the whole city were for David Hamilton.
Did the redistricting stick us into a predominantly 'rat district?
Or did some voting machines malfunction and register the votes wrong? Our state senator is Republican. this guy is our only 'rat since I can remember. I'm definitely puzzled.
Those 700+ votes are spread out over multiple states. I think it’s highly unlikely they would make a difference in any one race.
Does retail vote fraud happen? Sure.
Is it likely to make a difference? Nope. As your study shows.
I think it is also reasonable to note that all discussions of voter fraud on FR are premised on the assumption that ALL voter fraud is committed by leftists/liberals.
While I agree it is likely that this is the considerable majority, I would expect some voter fraud is committed by conservatives. Which reduces the 700+ potential vote margin created by voter fraud in your example.
BTW, what is to stop someone voting in FL in person, and voting by absentee ballot in MA? Did your survey check for that?
BTW, when I voted here in FL they required ID, which I believe has been the policy for many years. It’s just accepted, and nobody runs around hollering about voter suppression.
So why is voter ID fine in FL and other states, but discriminatory in TX?
