Mt. 21:43 Therefore I say to you, that the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and shall be given to a nation yielding the fruits thereof.
LOL at you. God has an eternal covenant with Israel, and among His other attributes, He is not a liar. Like a parent who sometimes gets upset with the bad behavior of his or her children, but never stops loving them or being committed to them, He sometimes punishes Jews for their bad behavior...but His commitment and love never ends.
FYI, if you want to play the superseding religion game, then you will lose that one. You claim that Christianity superseded Judaism? Well, the Moslems claim that their religion superseded yours. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. You will, of course, be very upset about that, and believe and maintain until your dying day that yours is the true religion and that nothing can supersede it. Well, welcome to my world.
Back to the covenant thing. All that a covenant is, is a holy contract between God and a people. In the same way that you and I can simultaneously have multiple contracts so can God. I fail to understand why it is that so many people believe that God can only have one covenant. It is very clear in the five books of Moses (which, if you dismiss as irrelevant would simultaneously dismiss all of Christianity) that there are a different set of rules for the Jewish people. They have more burdens placed upon them, as a light unto the nations, and commensurate greater rewards if they actually do what they are supposed to do. However, it is equally clear that any person who behaves according to God’s rules has a place in Heaven.
God told Abraham in Genesis 12:3 “and I will bless those who bless thee, and him that curse the thee I shall curse; in thee shall all the families of the world be blessed.” Take heed, because God does not lie, and the God of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.
You my friend are in for a big surprise. God has never abandoned His chosen people the Jews and is not done with them yet. The time is coming soon when all Israel will be saved
That’s replacement theology and flawed.
God never fails to keep His promises!
See Romans 11:24-25 for that reference (John 10:16 also) There has always been a remnant of Jews saved throughout the ages by God.
His promise to Abraham will be fulfilled soon actually.
The Church cannot nor will it ever replace Israel. We’re grafted into God’s Family thru Israel. All of Romans 11 really talks about this.
