FR did a little unofficial survey a while back asking how many of us had races other than white in our families.
There were quite a few,including me.

Add me, one SIL from Japan, another from the Philippines and two biracial nieces.
Multiple interracial marriages in my family, many biracial offspring. Not one whit of racism. We never learned that crap growing up in the 40s, 50s and 60s. My baby sister grew up in the 70s, as well. Two older brothers and I started in the 40s. It was a big family. :-)
We have had black, Korean, Phillipinos, black Americans and Jamaican.
