Obama Isn't Listening to Voters He Claims to Hear
National Journal ^ | November 6,2014 | Ron Fournier

Posted on 11/06/2014 3:23:01 AM PST by Biggirl

November 5, 2014 Shellacked and thumped by an angry electorate, President Obama declared to every American who voted in Tuesday's elections—and to those who've checked out of the political process—"I hear you."

And then he ignored them.

Let’s view the scenario....he stays on the path, vetos continually, and uses executive orders weekly.

So, we get to July of 2015, and the primary build-up in SC and Iowa. What do you think reporters and folks will be asking of the Democratic Presidential candidates? Are you in support of President Obama and his agenda? It puts a dozen guys/gals in a mess, and further drops the Democratic brand-name down another notch.

How you run any primary campaign and talk up where the National Party is going, with this stalled agenda? So, it’s a failed primary season, with the weakest-supporting guy winning because he just admitted the President wasn’t the right guy for the job.

But onto the five-star moment of November of 2016, the next senate race. Sure, one of the Republicans will be tossed out and replaced. I already agree on that. But at least four Democratic Senators are now in serious jeopardy, two years away.

Boxer (Ca) and Bennet (Col) would have serious problems with two more years of Obama agenda on turbo.

Harry Reid in Nevada, defending the President’s agenda? Could he pull one more rabbit out, or is he tired and worn out by that point?

Oregon and Washington are easily within reach. Maryland just flipped a Republican governor into the mix....so maybe the Senate seat there isn’t safe for the Democrats. And Conn, if they had a four-star Republican candidate running.....they might actually swing.

I’m seeing four more Republicans in place for wins in 2016. And maybe three more in 2018. They will hit sixty by that point.

If I were a Democratic analyst, I’d walk into the White House....explain how total destruction is only four years away, and get them onto a two-topic agreeable agenda with the Republicans in 2015....limiting damage, and just tell the media to downsize coverage of the President. Limit the speeches, and just act lame. The game is over, just play out lame and enjoy the last two years.

Well, he clearly is sociopathic IMHO.

If he is listening to the voters, he definitely does NOT hear them. I think he does hear them but is ignoring them — — Obama wants to weaken and bring America down; most voters in America do not.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO PRAY THAT MCCONNELL AND BOEHNER HEAR THE VOTERS AND FIGHT AGAINST OBAMA’S ATTEMPTS TO DESTROY AMERICA.

FIGHT IT McConnell/Boehner; don’t compromise with Obama’s attempts to partially destroy America.

He’s listening to the multiple voices in his head. He thinks it’s the voters, but they are legion....

Do you honestly think he gives a crap about saving the party? He is laying out his plan to have everything go nuclear so he can pull out his executive ordered suspension of the Constitution and declare Martial Law, just so he can keep that friggin airplane.

I expect a meeting by late November between WH players, Democratic national party players and some Senators. I see two Democratic senators in serious jeopardy for 2016, if he continues the trend...maybe even another three. You really don’t want the Republicans getting near 58 Senators by spring of 2017, and then worry about 2018 with sixty-plus Republicans in the Senate.

Yeah, the national party apparatus is about to flip and go in a different direction. They need the President act lame, behave lame, and just slide through the last two years. Otherwise, there’s an entire decade of damage done to the whole party.

I’m from Bama....go look at the positions across the state. Massive Republican wins in 2012 and 2014. Just trying to run for Sheriff of some county as a Democrat...is now a negative. You see the same attitude drifting in Arkansas and Mississippi. The party guys are going to overrule the President’s agenda from this point on.

I think the MSMN will get its marching orders to NOT ask such questions. Obama and ebola are both topics that must not be reported on.

He is a dangerous man-child, under the control of ValJar.

He can’t hear the 2/3 who chose not to vote, and they officially do not want to be heard. He is using this line because he assumes that the 2/3 who chose not to vote are all of the lazy recipients of handouts, and they WOULD have voted for him, had they gotten out of bed.

It’s quite likely that the people sitting out were, for the most part, completely disgusted and angry with what’s going on in the country.

Obama doesn’t give a darn what the people who voted think. Obama has an agenda, and it’s full steam ahead. He needs to be stopped.

MSM might get the message....but these local yokel news guys of SC and Iowa? I can see some idiot easily asking the question and freaking out the dozen candidates running around from state fair to state fair. All you need is one channel-9 rookie reporter asking one stupid question, and they will all rush up to ask each person the same question. Turn it into a publicity video, and the whole campaign is finished.

I really do think the man is unstable. Then again, narcissists usually are. That, coupled with his drug use...well, there you have it.

Somewhere near the end of 2015...McCain will announce his retirement, and the AZ governor appoints Ken Bennett (Sec of State for AZ, business, somewhat dynamic speaker) to fill out term and run in 2016. That’s my prediction. 2015 will be the last year with McCain running around in the Senate. Maybe CNN hires him for their network in 2016?
