If I had a billion dollars I would not even think of living in Malibu.

Maybe on a mountain top in the North Georgia mountains. Maybe in the mountains of Western N.C.

Probably pick Georgia because of their really good gun laws.

Well, she was one of the main stars of a very successful long-running dramatic television series, back in the day. Maybe she didn't blow all her earnings like so many do out there.

she married well... a plastic surgeon...

“Are they holding out for Sprouts Market?”

They are holding out for a Safeway I heard.

“How does Victoria Prinicipal have 100K to donate to frivolous ballot measures? Maybe there’s big money in skin-cream infomercials.”

Not maybe! No question VP made lots of money in the 70’s & 80’s doing Dallas. However, as (I can only assume) she was an actor on versus an owner of the show, she got paid per her employment contract and sees no further money from her reruns...I would venture to say that her earnings from skin cream et al are quite probably 5 times what she earned from working on the show.

I once worked w/Connie Stevens on a project. She too has a line of beauty stuff. When you consider her TC career was in the 60’s when pay was not much in inflation-adjusted terms, believe me, what she makes from skin cream is orders of magnitude greater than what she ever made in TV or film/

Likewise, I would bet you that George Foreman has made at least 20x on Geo Foreman grills than he ever made boxing.

Seinfeld? Jerry owned at least part of the show. Kramer, George, and Elaine made plenty of money from their roles, millions. But Jerry (and Larry David) is/are likely billionaire(s).

Most of those homes are 2nd or third residences.

The little people have to suffer with the 130k income and actually live there.

“If I had a billion dollars I would not even think of living in Malibu.”

If you had a billion; you could afford to go to Malibu when you wanted. Beautiful country actually.

The Reagan Library is really close in Simi Valley. My son and I took a trip there to the Reagan Library, then drove out to coast coming out near Malibu.
Its a trip many here on FR would enjoy.
Its unfortunate that liberals are always drawn to the real nice places to live.

I don’t care what people want to do. It just bothers me that she and her ilk are so holier than thou when it comes to what others want to do.

Rob, Barbara, folks like them are sick sick people.

What do you suppose Michael Jordan has earned from his Nike endorsement? (I have no more idea than the man in the moon)

But I bet it is comparable to his NBA earnings, and could easily be greater.

John Mackey is a lot of things. He doesn’t believe in anthropogenic climate change, he called Obamacare fascist and socialist, compared unions to herpes and loves capitalism.

He’s the CEO and co-founder of Whole Foods.

He’s not a leftist whack-job. He’s a little Austin, but that’s about it.

went to Reagan Monday. First time. Quality place. Tourist destination.

I love the Malibu coast. Would consider living there if I could.

The big issue is the residents block public access to the beach which is illegal in Cal.

Actually Whole Foods is a responsible, upright company with happy employees.
I only shop at WF and I am as Conservative as they come. Chemically hypersensitive and eat all organic, it has been a lifesaver, literally for me.
Don’t go on the weekends…place is full of stupid fruitcake Liberals!

So they'll have the help drive for supplies

Now, dahling, that's far better than having workers we don't know being so close to where they live. And those delivery trucks, what a menace. And who knows what little folk will come shop in our community. Just can't be too careful, you know, nothing personal....
