Is this guy doing it all right or am I missing something?
Walker is that rare leader who actually follows through on his stated plans, and is willing to endure whatever criticism (and worse) that may come his way. I’d be proud to have him as President. He has built one hell of a fine resume while Governor of Wisconsin.
Great analysis. Very well said.
Walker should vault to the top, and his blueprint should be the way forward for other Republican governors.
Well said. And one thing Rush did not say - he also beat back the non-support of Chris Christie.
I can’t wait for Gov. RAUNER to sit down with Gov. Walker and learn ways to replicate Wisconsin’s success template in Illinois. With Madigan and the Democrat statehouse it won’t be easy but it’s not like Walker has had a walk in the park either ;-)
A very thoughtful and spot-on salute by Rush to a man who truly walks the talk.
(yes, puns intended!)
’ Walkers landmark law called Act 10 severely restricted the power of public-employee unions to bargain collectively, and that provision, among others, has given social workers, prison guards, nurses and other public employees little reason to pay dues to a union that can no longer do much for them. Members of Mr. Beils group, the Wisconsin State Employees Union, complain that their take-home pay has fallen more than 10 percent in recent years, a sign of the unions greatly diminished power.

Its had a devastating effect on our union, Mr. Beil, its executive director, said of Act 10. He was sitting in his Madison office, inside the headquarters that his union, hard up for cash, may be forced to sell. The building is underused anyway, as staff reductions have left many offices empty.
Wisconsin was the first state to grant public-sector unions the right to negotiate contracts. Before Gov. Gaylord Nelson signed that law in 1959, only unionized workers in private companies had a government-protected right to bargain collectively. But the Wisconsin idea soon spread around the country. Act 10 is an about-face, and Mr. Walker and his Republican supporters see it as a tough-minded strategy that other states can follow.

He has Ba**s of steel
He’s doing everything right or otherwise he would not have won three elections
I feel the same way
I’m starting to think that MooseChelle Obama is no longer the “lock” for that Mark Kirk Illinois Senate seat to be contested again in 2016.
Dittos.
Scott Walker for President. Cruz for Senate Majority Leader. Best chance we have for 2016.
It never occurs to the command-and-controllers that real Americans still understand the blessing of Liberty - and will fight beside a champion if given a chance.
Outstanding article. His acceptance speech last night was magnificent.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, tis Wisconsin interest ping list.
FTA:
I watched his acceptance speech last night and I saw the epitome of class. I saw the epitome of dignity. I saw a guy who was genuinely happy and respectful, and not one shred of bitterness. No evidence of anger whatsoever. The entire Democrat Party power structure went into Wisconsin to take out Scott Walker three times in six years. Scott Walker defeated his opponent, Mary Burke. Scott Walker defeated every national labor union. Scott Walker defeated Bill and Hillary Clinton. Scott Walker defeated Barack and Michelle Obama.
Too, too, true. And he’s a humble guy. His first words were:
“First of all, I thank God.”
And somebody sitting near me said, “Oh, look. Tonette got a new dress.”
This is a “salt of the earth” family.
Gov. Christie came here to campaign with Walker. What makes you say that Christie didn’t support him?
Chris Christie witheld money from Walker's campaign in order to eliminate the competition for 2016.
Scott Walker criticized the TEA Party for backing primary opponents to GOP leaders.
I’m sticking with Cruz.
