Right. No one can be 100% right on everything, but when you vote for a leader, you are voting for a person’s set of values and the moral compass that will guide them to make decisions that reflect those values.
This guy is really battle tested. Just wish he was not so pro-amnesty.
I go a little further.
I would invade Mexico, rout out the cartels and corrupt government and make Mexico the kind of place people wouldn’t want to flee from. That would get at the real root of the problem. We’re going to have to do it eventually.
He’s also been vetted. Over and over again. And the bad guys have never found anything. The guy’s an Eagle Scout— literally.
That’s why they’ve gone after him so hard....This was their last chance to stop him.
When I see Trey Gowdy as Speaker of the House, and Ted Cruz as Senate Majority Leader, then I’ll know the GOP is serious.
Until then... I’ll take it one day at a time. I understand your optimism, but ... I’ll wait and see.

I've liked him ever since he took the lead in getting public employees the right to not participate in, or have to contribute to, public employee unions.
The union goons invaded the state capital, the Dem legislators fled the state to deny quorum, but through it all he held the line until victory was achieved.
We need conservative fighters like him.
I’m sold. I think we need someone to run who has been an executive. That experience will look good on a Presidential resume.
He’s not afraid to state his values (lesser dependency on government), which I think will resonate across party lines. It’s apparent that it did in Wisconsin.
I think it speaks volumes that Christie didn’t want to help him out. Walker will clean his clock.
