Is this the same Larry Hogan that was the County Executive of PG County circa 1990?
No, his son. Hogan, Sr. was a Congressman from 1967-75, ran for Governor in 1974 (but failed to get the GOP nomination), and next was PG County Exec from 1978-1982. Ran and lost against Sarbanes for Senator in 1982. He’s still alive and probably feeling vindicated with his son’s victory.
