I wouldn’t say Hogan is a RINO. There wre more conservative candidates in the primary (Cragi, George, and Lollar), but Larry is in tune with the GOP views on most of the issues that mattered in this campaign.

Deep inside the Hilldabeast 2016 Campaign Headquarters...
.
.
.

BEFORE last night:

Campaign Advisors: “Ms. Clinton, we need to get make you look like you’re leading the Party to victory.”

Hilldabeast: “I don’t want to face any more heckling!!!”

CA: “No, we will only send you to campaigns that are guaranteed to win, so you can take credit for the victory.”

Hilldabeast: “Are there any of those? Shaheen in NH?”

CA: “No, it seems that troublesome former model is rising fast. Stay away from there.”

Hilldabeast: “Where do you suggest. Out with it!”

CA: “We want to send you to the Governors Race in Maryland. Always a sure thing. It’s a double win for you. You can “lead” by endorsing a candidate of color and not have to pretend to talk like you’re black. After he coasts to victory, he will owe you a favor. Others will think you brought him across the victory line.”

Hilldabeast: “OK, if you’re sure.”

CA: “Absolutely. We have a lock on it!”

Hilldabeast: “Will Mooch be there? I hate that woman!”

CA: “Well yes, but again, you will be standing shoulder to shoulder for the positioning effect in the pictures. It’s only for an hour.”

Hilldabeast: “OK...”

.
.
.

AFTER last night...

Hilldabeast: “YOU said it was guaranteed!!!!! You $*($&*$&&$*($($(!!!!!” [throws ash tray, barely missing CA]

Maybe taxing rainfall wasn't such a good idea after all.

Only in Maryland......

The theme from Hogan’s Heroes will be stuck rolling around in my head for the next four years.

People are trying to blame low voter turnout in PG county and Mo Co for Hogan’s win.... but looks like turnout was even lower in 2010.....

Time will tell, but I agree that “hollow-victory” may prove to be an apt description.

No, his son. Hogan, Sr. was a Congressman from 1967-75, ran for Governor in 1974 (but failed to get the GOP nomination), and next was PG County Exec from 1978-1982. Ran and lost against Sarbanes for Senator in 1982. He’s still alive and probably feeling vindicated with his son’s victory.

One-time Presidential hopeful Martin Owe’Malley is deeply saddened.

Just as well. Having Owe’Malley as President would be a sick, sad joke on the country.

In 1992, I thought Clinton was a bad joke perpetrated on the Nation - then he was re-elected.

Leaving aside the blow jobs given under the desk in the Oval Office, the question that has never been addressed, much less answered, is the intelligence that was given to the Chinese under his Administration.

He should have been run out of office for his hi-jinks with Lewinski - he should have been executed for his sell-out to the Chinese.

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Please. It had nothing to do with Brown’s ethnicity. People are just tired of the OweMalley agenda, and they saw Brown as just an extension of the OweMalley Infestation. Most conservatives elect people based on their qualifications and not based on Rat-style identity politics.

BTW, Hogan’s running mate is an actual black guy and not a halfrican.

I did not use those exact words, but I have to admit that I was one of the FReepers who predicted a Rat victory.

BTW, we just visited Jamestown, for the first time, about 2 weeks ago. Loved it!

Some political commentator on FOX 45 News last night said that Brown’s loss hurts OweMalley’s presidential chances. As much as I would like for this to be true, I really don’t think the rest of the country would even have any knowledge of Brown’s association with Little Marty. And I am pretty sure that Brown worked hard not to be associated with OweMalley.

Meh. Brown was associated with him for 8 years. Can’t wash 8 years of stink off that fast.

Oh, I am not saying Brown should not be associated with OweMalley. My point was that people around the country do not know about MD politics and so won’t consider Brown’s loss as a reflection on OweMalley.

I hope the arrogant little twit OweMalley does run for president, and I hope to see him crash and burn on the national stage.
