How Hillary Clinton won the 2014 midterms [OMG, The Spin is Hilarious]
Yahoo "news" ^ | 11/5/14 | Andrew "The New Hack for Hitlery" Romano

So who won the 2014 midterm elections?

The easy answer is the Republican Party....

But here’s the thing: In politics, the easy answer isn’t always the only answer, and the winner of an election isn’t always the one who benefits most. Take a closer look at demography, geography and the road ahead for the parties, and it’s clear that the long-term winner of the 2014 midterms wasn’t the GOP at all. The long-term winner, in fact, wasn’t even on the ballot this year.

Her name is Hillary Clinton.

And the first trial balloon to spin Hitlery as the answer to America's problems floats slowly above Yahoo's HQ.

Someone remind me:

Did Hitlery help Martha Coakley in Massachusetts?

Did Hitlery help that Obama mini-me in Maryland?

Did Hitlery, after extorting $17K for a chartered plane, help Greasy Grimes in Kentucky?

Did Hitlery do wonders for Mark Pryor in Arkansas???

Hello??? Is there a dial tone??? Mark Romano, are you there???!

Hillary is happy.

She got her revenge on Obama.

That clears the decks for her in 2016.

I think my 5 y.o. son’s new word is perfectly descriptive: “hilarassing.”

Did Hillary! campaign for Abortion Barbie in Texas or Sen. Babyfat in Louisiana? I don’t remember.

I seem to recall Bubba coming to Florida to boost “Good-time” Charlie Crist, for all the good it did.

Maybe the bloom is finally off the Clintoon rose.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Agreed. Hillary doesn’t care about the Senate or the House right now. In 2016, no one will care that she didn’t help anyone running for Congress in 2014.

The Obama wing of the party is pretty much demolished right now. Obama is in no position to groom a successor. For the Democrats, the clear-cut choice right now is Hillary. In that very real sense, she was a big winner last night, IMHO.

ROTFLOL!

Democrat defeat = victory.

Republican victory = defeat.

Orwell couldn’t have said it better himself!

I love it! I really do!

The candidates she supported were doomed anyway, and it absolved her from any blame for the loss - “she tried” and “worked for the team”. In the meantime, she picked up some markers and made some contacts. In many cases, on their dime, which is a good thing, considering the Clinton’s dire financial situation.

This may be the most bizarre attempt at political analysis I’ve seen in a while.

He admits that almost everyone that Hillary campaigned for lost and then goes on to say that she’ll “start” with enough electoral votes in 2016 that she’ll only need to pick up a handful of them to win...

Leaving aside Hillary’s obvious ineffectiveness, I’m sure that Obama doubling down on his Marxist policies would -never- reflect poorly on other Democrats, right? Especially not last night, and especially especially not after the last two years of his aggressively anti-American presidency.

No, but she did campaign for Grimes (double-digit loss) and Hagan (lost despite solid lead in polls).

If this is "winning", then I want her to "win" some more.

Hillary is as leftist as Obama but she is smart enough to see he is toxic.

She will put as much daylight between her and him as she can.

And she paid her party dues and they owe her one.

All of which goes to show, liberals still love you just for striking out.

And the girl did what the girl had to do.

Now that the ship has sailed, let's see if the Republicans in Congress will follow through with the Benghazi investigation and put a spread of torpedoes into her.

PIAPS is running and will get the ‘RAT nomination. My (forlorn?) hope is that the ‘Pubs run a Constitutional conservative, and not a Rovian GOP RINO, including anyone named Bush.

CEO Marisa Mayer rearranging her Deck Chair from Bambi to Hildabeast. She will be looking from the sidelines as she will be tossed out on her ass by the Board of Directors by 2016. If not for the Alibaba shares Yahoo holds to put lipstick on the balance sheet she would already been gone.

Here’s the issue: if she wants to define herself away from Obama, she’s going to have to really come out and oppose him on a lot of stuff.

Republicans can have a lot of fun with this by passing popular bills that Obama will veto but Hillary will need to support. The bills come back to the Congress (and particularly the Senate) for override and Democrat Senators will have to choose between supporting Obama or supporting Hillary.

This is the sort of thing that shows how important controlling the Senate is.

The real issue/problem, is that a large segment of voters “out in the middle” vote for what they think will get the most for themselves, not what will make/keep America strong and ripe with opportunity for individuals. They don’t worry about liberty as they are looking for the government to solve their problems.

They don’t see the damage the Obama-Reid-Pelosi machine has done to America, they just see that they haven’t gotten all the free stuff they were promised. When Hillary makes the promise of how socialism will finally work when SHE is in charge of it, those ignoramuses will pull the lever for another round of wealth redistribution, entrusting even more of the economy to a government that refuses to even balance their checkbook.

This has nothing to do with how which party views immigration reform, or foreign policy, military spending, porkbarrelling, corruption, etc., just what the selfish voter might gain for themselves. And at that, only for the short term.

It doesn’t help that the GOP can’t come up with a plan.
