Reid will be the fall guy, but will get a soft landing...His wife, sadly, is very ill, so this is how it will play out...it'll be pre-arranged. He'll be elected minority leader, but in mid January..after a few weeks of the new Congress convenes, he will announce that he's retiring to take care of his wife. Reid looks good..a gracious exit...and since the GOP has a several seat majority, it makes no difference when Sandoval appoints a Republican to the seat.
