We are about to take both houses of the Statehouse and have a new Republican US Senator and a new TEA Party member going to Congress. We almost won the Governorship. Good progress.
So when do you make the escape?
That is the subject of some debate! I’m having eye surgery next week, so it all depends on how it turns out. And how quickly I heal.
Best case is it all works out perfectly and the first trip out is over thanksgiving, then the final trip for me is over Christmas. The hubby comes when the house here sells.
But me driving a huge uhaul 2000 miles 2 weeks after surgery may network out if I need different glasses.
It all could be delayed another month. In that case, I may not move until march because the first quarter at hubby’s work is very busy and he’s the only one who knows what to do with the Big Government environmental reports. Of course, he’s quitting soon -so shouldn’t care.... but he’s not like that. If he says he’ll do something, he’s honor-bound to do it. So taking 2 weeks off to move me, animals, and all our stuff might not work out until march.
