Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, which also is responsible for 150 Minuteman 3 missiles
Is this some kind of covert tip-off of what we house where?
****
Could be?
I suspect our enemies have long known where our missiles are. They could probably give us directions if we ever lost one.
Absolutely...no one even knew it was there until this got published.
Nah. This is well known data by everyone interested.
Can't be that covert. All you need to do is go to their website.

The building of the Launch Facilities and the Launch Control Facilities in the 1960s was a massive, very well known project that was followed closely by the Soviets. The enemy knew the exact location and coordinates of every one of these sites before they were completed.
Just like the development of the Titan II system they actually copied the missile designs and fielded those copies. At one point it was found that the "Dash-1," the manual used by the Missile Combat Crews for the Titan II was being used in the Soviet version and was found in English.

Um, we agreed with the Soviets what our missile strengths would be so we also told them where they are. That, and I am pretty sure they already knew.
No. Our enemies already know what we have and where. It’s naive to think otherwise.
