Libertarians are liberals, Period. They are anarchists, who think every man may make up his own rules within the social compact that is a nation. Libertarians may be summed up in one phrase - Every man for himself. They do not believe in absolutes. there is no right and wrong - other than their “right” to do whatever they please, which makes them no different than liberals. Libertarians are just too cowardly to call themselves liberals - or more accurately - “libertines.”
