We are all given the right for the pursuit of happiness you just aren't guaranteed happiness.
Ask a minimum wage worker “Where does your boss get the money to pay for his fancy car?”
He’ll say:”From my work!”
Ask a minimum wage worker “Where does your boss get the money to pay for his high taxes?”
He’ll say: “Huh?”
Life especially isn’t fair for the stupid.

Sorry about the multiple posts.
I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. (New International Version)
“diversity and fairness”
which is an oxymoron given any real thought... Everything must be equal while demanding we celebrate the different... The “correctly” different that is.
“Leading from behind” is another oxymoron that is supposed to be some sort of brilliant thought. Brilliant like the Emperor’s New Clothes...
Somewhere we switched from equality of opportunity to equality of results and now the government must be the guarantor. I think affirmative action may have been the precursor.
I have wondered how “equal opportunity” (which SEEMS fair) morphed into inherent unfairness (quotas, admissions/promotions weighing on race vs. grades, and so on).
what if we required tall people to have inches off thier legs removed and given to shorter people to make them taller.
why is it fair that people who have more of something, have more of it taken away from them? and that this is somehow regarded as fair? so what, they have more? why does that inherently mean it’s fair to TAKE more - and then give it to others who have less? shouldn’t it be their choiceto give to others rather than have govt redistribute it to those they want to give it to, and getpolitical points doing so? those that have more never get any points for their confiscated goods, just the politicians for taking it from them.
There no worst hell on earth than enforced “equality “.
It is not fair nor do all people have equal abilities.
LOL - well, there’s that too....
