In fact, I can. Your hated Republicans, under the leadership of Newt Gingrich, forced a reduction in spending on President Clinton for several years.

Uh, there was NO reduction in the Federal Government Monster WHILE Reagan WAS in Office.
If you want to get technical, the only reduction (as in a nearly balanced Budget) was when Clinton was in Office. That of course was thanks to Gingrich, but that side of the story is never mentioned in the Media.
