This is about the 5th time in the last two weeks that I have heard about this deed. Twice on the radio, once in my scripture reading, twice in random other readings, once in a dream.

The dream also added something about Obadiah, Hosea, Malachi, and 2 Golf Magazines from July (including Golf Digest...I couldn’t retain the memory on these though)

Now on FR - Just making me wonder...mysterious ways and all.

It’s one of those ‘little known’ side stories of the Bible.
It is often overlooked and discounted as ‘filler’ for the overall text.
Why would God tell Jeremiah to buy the field, when he was under arrest, in the palace courtyard, and had no real reason to buy the field, much less use it?
He was offered first refusal by his cousin, since he was the nearest next-of-kin to buy it, as was the custom of the time. A similar scenario occurred in the Book of Ruth, a few hundred years earlier.

The DEED has legal connotations, in that it would cement Israel’s claim of possession of the land, way before any Islamic entity was ever created.

The deed was to be sealed in a clay jar and was given to Baruch, Jeremiah’s secretary, and effectively hidden until the right time for it to reappear, which may be very soon..........................
