Dems Rush to Save Suddenly Vulnerable Incumbents

Desperate Democrats are rushing to save suddenly vulnerable House incumbents, even in states where President Barack Obama cruised to double-digit victories, amid fresh signs of Republican momentum less than a week before the midterm elections.

The once friendly terrain of New York, California, Obama's native state of Hawaii and adopted state of Illinois all now pose stiff challenges to Democrats who are determined to limit their losses next Tuesday. Both parties agree the GOP will hold its House majority; the question is whether Republicans can gain enough seats to rival their post-World War II high water mark of 246.

The current breakdown is 233-199 in favor of the Republicans with three vacancies.

"We're in trench warfare. I'm not going to sugarcoat it," Rep. Steve Israel, D-N.Y., chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said in an interview.

In one sign of Democratic concern, Vice President Joe Biden was heading to Massachusetts on Wednesday for a rally with Seth Moulton, who is trying to hold onto a Democratic seat against Republican Richard Tisei. Then Biden was traveling to California on Saturday to campaign in an open-seat contest east of Los Angeles that surprisingly looks closer than a sure-fire Democratic gain.

"Heck, it's been so long since a Republican was elected to the Congress in Massachusetts, most Republicans don't know how to spell Massachusetts," joked Rep. Greg Walden of Oregon, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee. He said the GOP is spending 78 percent of its independent money in districts that Obama won.

The good news is coming in so fast, I can hardly keep track of it. I haven’t been this hopeful for the country in years.

This harms conservatives: RINOs are winning iffy elections diluting the conservatives’ power in the new House.
It’s going to be ‘more of the same’ from Boehner next year.

(Of course it’s better news than the Dems taking over.)

I am working on the Annette Teijeiro Congressional campaign in Nevada (Las Vegas) against left wing Dina Titus. Dear Lord, we should be crushed in a heavily Democrat district, but I think we are less than half a point behind as we come finish early voting.

It will all depend on every last Repub and conservative independent showing up at the end to push over the top. This is crunch time, time to raise the dead and go vote.

This would be a jaw dropping win, so if you know anyone in Las Vegas please give them a call. If Dr. Annette gets in we have a fearless advocate against Harry Reid, and Annette is smart as a tack. We got zero PAC money to, so we are beholden to no one.

Please call, tweet, facebook, do whatever. People need to know how winnable this is.

I’m over at the campaign if anyone wants to say hi. 2069 E. Sahara Suite A, Las Vegas

Oh, you are welcome. I do a lot of the guerrilla warfare, and positions, which I wouldn’t know nearly as much about without the Freeper community. So thanks go all around.

I was thinking the same thing.

The GOP will see this as a win for the GOP-e.
In reality, the democrats are SO bad that their voters won’t show. A few might change sides, but there is no such thing as a Boehner-democrat (like there were Reagan-democrats)

I don’t even know if it’s numerically possible, but what a hoot it would be if the Republicans got a veto proof majority.

Man, the rolling back of Liberal waste and corruption...

Thank what a slap in the face that would be to Obola.

Thanks for all your hard work and good luck.

We got zero PAC money

Why not?

A couple of mil could come in handy right now. There's nothing wrong with PACs, unless they're something you don't believe in.

I'll bet Sarahpac would shoot you some money.

For the Senate, it’s not numerically possible...however a strong enough showing might get a few Dems who will play ball if only to save themselves in 2016.

I note that when leadership changes. you also get a few folks jumping party lines. While that can mean liberals are deluding Conservatism, it can also mean that some Democrats are sick and of their own party too.

I would love to see the Democrat Party destroyed, but it would simply mean the Leftists would congregate under a different flag.

I am not confident at all. I thought Romney would win by over 100 electoral votes.

We must remember that the Democrat Vote Fraud Criminal Enterprise is massive.
