I have a cousin in law that has GBM IV right now... she IS going to die from this...I dont envy her situation at all... the treatment is horrific..
Thank God. I have been praying that she would change her mind. It is horrible that the pro-death faction is encouraging this poor woman to make a horrible choice.
I am happy she changed her mind and hope she has manny comfortable months if not years.
I think she is strong enough now to resist the pro suicide people. let them kill themselves instead of trying to manipulate this young woman who has so much family to love her and want her to live

My own mother always has been comfortable telling me how to live — in fact, she considers it her job to do so — and she’d sure as hell tell me not to kill myself even if I were dying of a brain tumor!
Who cares what she does? She so far seems like a media-craving loon.
Or the publicity led to a lot of donations, enough that her family wants to continue funding her bucket list, pay off bills and other things they may not be able to do when she’s dead.
Disclaimer: I have not been following this particular story up to now.
I am not automatically against a terminal person choosing to end their life. But I am also not automatically for it.
The one observation I would make based on this article is that if one wishes to die with dignity, this is certainly not the way to go about it. Which makes it look suspiciously agenda driven.
Whoring yourself out to a death cult is not what I would call death with dignity.
Either that or she was doing it for the attention, and never wanted to kill herself in the first place.
Either way, I am thankful.

This wasn’t hard to foresee. She’s the center of attention and finds it a pretty good gig. She’ll be an afterthought about the third or fourth time she publicly sets a death date.
I’ve never heard of somebody granting their own stay of execution.... Is that legal?!
I knew she would change her mind as the date loomed closer.
