My Father had a Marlin which had the same action as the model 60 but resembled the M1 Carbine. It was a way more accurate than most 10/22s and those Rugers are not really bad.
I agree about the CZs. Probably the best bolt action .22 currently made.
Funny how you can collect a few guns that are pretty good without being an expert. Even pre-internet. I traded an old Toyota pickup truck for that Marlin. The truck is long gone but the rifle is good to go.
