I know this is too late a reply for this thread, but I can’t stand it.

SHE STILL WANTS TO KILL HERSELF. JUST DOESN’T WANT TO SET A DATE NOW.
She is not “changing her heart”, only about the date.
She simply wants ‘to escape’ the discomfort of the final blows of cancer.
In rereading my comment, I can see how it comes across as if I didn’t notice that she still plans to kill herself.
But, I did read what she still plans to do. I’m just glad she changed her mind this time. I hope that (and I wouldn’t be surprised if) she keeps changing her mind and delaying suicide until natural death occurs. Maybe a miracle will happen in the meantime.
