Remember the lawyer with tuberculosis who took a plane to Europe? The CDC told him he could travel, too.

How many people on that plane caught TB? No one. His wife also was not infected.

They all had to be tested and waited anxiously for the results, though. All of those passengers had to be inconvenienced and had to live in uncertainty because there was a chance they might've caught it.

But, since none of them caught TB, do you think travel restrictions should be lifted for TB patients?

Remember, two Texas nurses caught Ebola from a patient. Even if it's not so easy to catch, there's still a risk.

I’m not sure what TB has in common with Ebola.
That’s like Saying: “ I got cancer from a guy who had the flu.”
They are not remotely the same thing

That being said, I still do not understand why Ebola has become a political issue

Especially for those who want the government OUT of our lives. Do you simply hold that point of view until you become frightened?
