Md. Board of Elections Probe Republican-To-Democratic Ballot Switch Claims

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—Early voting just started last week in Maryland, but there are already accusations that some voting machines are changing Republican votes to Democrat. Now Republicans are calling for an investigation by the State Board of Elections.

“We’ve heard from scores of citizens in our district and around the state who have had this problem where they hit one button to vote for one person, and when they go to the summary they see that the other person was checked,” said Del Nik Kipke, (R) Anne Arundel County.

Republicans say they’ve received several dozen reports of Republican votes being changed to Democrat.

We vote for all individual candidates. There is no R or D lever to vote a straight ticket in MD.

The best we can do is check the final screen to make sure all your votes are for the right candidates and hope that is what is recorded.

Wife and I voted in Montgomery County an hour ago. When I approached one of the ladies at the check-in table, I asked if any of their machines were flipping Rs to Ds. She didn't know what I was talking about, so I explained. She knew nothing.

I voted, and had no problem, but I did note that on the summary of vote page, there were NO party affiliations listed with the names, so if you did NOT remember the name of the R you voted for, it could have been flipped w/o you knowing it.

Then my wife voted and sure enough, the Rs flipped to Ds. She called over the Bd of Elections guy, and they closed down the machine. I went over to the Repub poll watcher and she said that was the second machine that did it. When my wife went to another machine, the same thing happened. He said it must be because of my wife's nails, but she pointed out to him that she has short nails having just gotten a manicure yesterday! They took that machine out too.

Between the illegals in this state and fraud perpetrated by these disgusting, lawless lefties, The Old Line State is done. My wife refuses to move to Virginia, but maybe this will change her mind.
