It could be a trap. They announce that Republicans are going to win and hope that it gets Republicans to stay home because “they have it in the bag” — and they hope it encourages the demoncraps to come out in force to win one for the lame duck.
I expect the dead to turn out and vote, as always. Still, even democrats cannot win without a moderate number of living, non-fictional voters.

One thing to consider.
Pollsters are saying that people are very negative on congress and particularly Republicans.
Many of us if asked by a pollster would say we very unhappy with congress and the Republican party. From that pollsters conclude that Republicans are not in a strong position.
They may be right, but they also maybe very wrong. Republicans have seriously pissed off many of us - but - we are much more pissed off at Democrats...
but Democrats for the first time this election still topped Republicans in pre-Election Day ballot casting at the polls in the entire state ...Odd phrasing, "for the first time, still." Reminds me of the old nursery school rhyme that starts "One bright day in the middle of the night."
At any rate, if the DEMs aren't leading when the ballots are first counted, then there will be some post-Election day ballot casting.
Early voting is simply a way for Democrats to cheat - period.

of course, the South Florida Democrats had a greater turnout in early voting. The Republicans are at work trying to pay enough taxes to support them.(sorry, don’t mean to sound like a right wing extremist))
