Ready for Jeb?
Real Clear Politics ^ | October 27, 2014 | Tom Bevan

It wasn’t quite an “out-of-the-mouths-of-babes” moment -- George P. Bush is 38 years old -- but it was newsy nonetheless. Yesterday Jeb Bush’s eldest son told Jon Karl of ABC News that he believes his father is “giving this serious thought in moving forward ... that he'll run."

Jeb’s thinking about running for president has been one tea leaf that many pundits have had a hard time reading. Unlike some of his fellow Republicans with 2016 aspirations, the former Florida governor has played it close to the vest. His big brother said recently that he believes Jeb would make a good president, but Dubya has been saying that for years. George P’s comment is the closest we’ve gotten to a glimpse at the inner circle, and it appears to confirm what many have suspected for some time: Jeb is ready to go.

But that raised the question: Is the Republican Party ready for Jeb?

To answer the question, no.

The next one in line isn’t a strategy for winning.

Been there, done that.

Jeb running will put hitlery in the WH. Of course, this may be the master plan for the republicrat uniparty. The GOP-e is comfortable in their “loyal opposition” role, and both parties heel to their crony master’s call. Look at mexico today, and that is where we will be tomorrow; two countries, one master.

No. NO. NOOOOOO.

No Bush. No Clinton.

Just NO.

It’s infuriating that there are donors that must think this is a good idea. And it shows a lack of respect and judgement on Jeb’s part that he’s considering it.

Dear Jeb and G.P:

NO.

Nothing against the Bush family in general, and while Dubya was almost as good as Ronaldus Maximus -we don’t need a Royal Line Of Lineage taking over the Presidency of our country.

No more Bush family members, just because they are Bush family members.

Of course, NO MORE Clintons either! *shudder*. Or Soeteros/Obamas either! OR Gore / Kerry. Need I go on?

We need some fresh blood that is not beholden to the political class, not some Family-Name puppet or liberal zealot to continue dragging this country down.

Awww hell to the NO.

Even if he locks-down Florida, he still has to somehow run the gauntlet of swing states near perfectly. And even if he wins, what do conservatives get? Amnesty? Crappy SCOTUS appointees who’ll drift leftward as bad as H.W.’s and W’s appointees?

We need someone who will advocate conservative principles, unabashedly, proudly, intelligently.

Pardon me for saying this, but I’m not bustin’ my ass for a candidate who won’t hesitate to stab me in the back.

I can’t wait for the media to tell us how perfect he is, how he is such a good Republican choice......Then turn against him live a pack of wolves 6 months before the election. We’re being set up, once again.

Bill Gates, Jeb Bush, Oprah and Warren Buffett meeting at SC island
Posted: May 10, 2013 10:39 AM CST

CHARLESTON, SC -

Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft and one of the richest people in the world, is spending time in the Lowcountry.

WCBD confirmed the American business magnate is at the Sanctuary on Kiawah Island.

Suspicion was raised when nearly 20 very expensive jets were seen lined up at the Charleston International Airport on Johns Island.

Officials with the Beach Company confirmed to WCBD that other big names such as New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, TV host Oprah Winfrey and Billionaire Warren Buffet flew into the Charleston Executive airport on Johns Island Wednesday night.

Other prominent people said to also be staying there this weekend are Jeb Bush and Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The famous guests were attending a two day long conference led by Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Officials say the meeting was about the foundation Gates and his wife Linda run.

The meeting rented out the entire Sanctuary Hotel on the gated island. Security has been high throughout the entire week, keeping the public away from the hotel.

WCBD spoke to the Mayor of Kiawah by phone who said the town is happy to serve as host to the event.

“We wish them luck with what they’re doing,” Mayor Charles Lipuma said. “If they want to play golf, they couldn’t have picked a better weekend. We are glad we could offer them great weather.”

Great idea!

The Dems LOVE “false flag” campaigns!

Now....

Who can we get to “lead” a Democrat movement to push JEB as a better “Democrat” candidate than Hillary?

It would be interesting to hear Jeb try to explain why he is NOT a Democrat....
