That's generally true, but ever since the 2012 elections I've had the impression that the posters on Free Republic have fulfilled the requirements for that distinction. I've never seen such negativity, and it's really put me off the site.
That’s basically what talk forums are for....ranting. The country is going down the tubes, but you think Freepers should put on a happy face and talk about unicorns and puppies? Sometimes we do. But, sorry, the problems of the country are not going to solved by nice talk. Liberalism has to be attacked. That involves a lot of barbed i.e. negative criticism.
