I bet she wasn’t treating Ebola patients. We only have her word for it.

I think she and the CDC set this up from the beginning.

Pretty much tells you that she hasn’t a brain in her head and certainly no common sense.

She's a leftist federal employee and the target is a Republican governor.

If Ebola hits critical mass like HIV did, mostly it will kill Democrat city dwellers. HIV infects about 99 Democrats for every collateral Republican. Ebola probably won't be that efficient, but close.

This is a very long thread. I haven’t read all of it. But...

Maybe the nurse should have some advance warning. I feel certain that is why she freaked.

I don’t disagree with a quarantine at all. Let’s face it...these folks are getting on planes. cruise ships and public transportation.

I policy would be nice.

Death, especially through murder or dereliction of duty is a permanent removal of one’s civil rights. All this selfish, self-centered shill cares about is getting at the GOP Governor Christie. Even if he is liberal, it doesn’t matter to her.

Ebola has been shown in labs to rest on surfaces longer at low humidity, low temperatures, and little to no UV exposure. Deep in the alleys or in the subway at this time of year in NYC, those conditions are met. The crowding of the homeless and in the subway system would make a potential means of spreading among the city dwellers. You could be right, only time will tell.

Absolutely - shouldn’t get a dime. She should be thankful she lives in a country where we quarantine. At least in some states. At least in some parts of some states. What an ungrateful whiner.

Shakespeare didn't say this. One of Shakespeare's characters, Jack Cade, said it. And Shakespeare presented him as an ignorant lout who wanted to do away with anybody who had the slightest pretense to learning.

I believe it was character Dick the Butcher and not Cade who said that line, and Shakespeare's intended message has been widely debated.

A tale of two cities: Spanish Flu version

Philly mayor wants to be patriotic so he throws a parade.
St. Louis shuts everything down.

Three weeks later 4,500 are dead in Philly.
St. Louis is unscathed.

It seems to me she is a Democrat plant and was sent exactly for this purpose. I would be surprised if she did much in the way of nursing over there. I have been trying to argue for Quarantine for anyone coming into Australia with an independent Senator here in Australia but everyone is too scared to take a stance.

The government pulls out their medical experts that behave more like hand puppets. These are no better than your CDC - I even managed to find out that our protocols here have not been upgraded since their failure over there in the US.

These politicians were elected to make wise and prudent decisions in regards to the welfare and security risks to the population. Quarantine is a very useful tool in prevention and should be a large part of an overall strategy which includes stopping the virus where it is. I believe that not enforcing quarantine conditions is a dereliction of duty on behalf of any politician who is in the position to influence a decision on this. I hope someone who gets it from a person who has not been quarantined sues the government and Obama personally.

Works for me. Of course, I can sue her for placing me in danger by her recklessness.... That has to be a violation of MY civil rights. Two can play that game.

The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.”

I’m starting a The Foundation to Spay & Neuter Feral Attorneys.

Would you like to make a contribution?

For our large donors, we can guarantee they won’t awaken from sedation.

We also clip the toes off their expensive, pointy, leather shoes so you can have a lasting reminder of your contribution to sanity.
