For the past decade, GOA has been tracking and exposing efforts across the country by the federal government and various state governments to cast suspicion on law-abiding gun owners.
In February of 2009, a confidential report was leaked from the Missouri Information Analysis Center, a Fusion Center working with DHS. The report was entitled “The Modern Militia Movement,”4 and claimed to provide ways to spot dangerous militia members and domestic terrorists. The report stated that such persons “often subscribe to the ideology of other right-wing extremist movements such as:”
* Christian
* Abortion
* Anti-Immigration
The report then claimed that “[m]ilitia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups,” and that law enforcement should be on the lookout for “suspicious” symbols such as the Gadsen Flag and “Molon Labe,” as well as materials such as bumper stickers supporting:
* The Constitutional [sic] Party
* Campaign for Liberty
* Libertarian
* Ron Paul
* Chuck Baldwin
* Bob Barr.
Although acknowledging that there is absolutely no evidence of present or future terrorism in Virginia, the State Police persists in crying wolf. On the radar screen this time are:
* “student groups” at “Historically Black Colleges and Universities” and at Regent University, a “private, evangelical Christian institution”
* “special interest groups,” such as “anti-abortion extremists.”

In a number of mass shootings I have observed recently: The gun used was not the shooter’s gun.
1) Adam Lanza killed his mother with her own gun and then went on a shooting spree with her gun.
2) Eric Frein, a suspected police killer, allegedly shot at a police precint in PA, using a gun identified by ballistics as being the .308 rifle that his father reported stolen from him earlier.
3) A teen broke into his Father’s gun safe and used it to kill a fellow high school student before killing himself.
Any more I haven’t mentioned?
Really sucks when the criminals are in charge.
Ever notice they always accuse others of that which they are guilty?
So being “anti-immigration” is extremism?
Used to be the norm from 1924 to 1965.
But that was legal immigration.
Maybe they’re confusing it with being anti-illegal immigration.
But if opposing illegal immigration is “extreme”, are they saying they AGREE with illegal immigration?
Guess we all don’t want to know the answer.

A terrorist by definition is one who opposes freedom. The whole damn US government is a terrorist organization. ...and this charge that leagle gun owners are terrorists is a terrorist act.
I am not a potential terrorist. My government is the terrorist. I am a potential soldier.
Yes, Old Hubert said that! The liberal in 1960. We need to keep hammering the gun grabber lefties with that. Also the fact that when the Democrats and the Farmer Labor Party in Minnesota merged, Old Hubert ran the communists form the Farmer Labor Party out of the newly formed DFL (of course now they are back).
Consider me wrong, but I continue to differentiate between the liberals and the leftists (communists). I do disagree with the liberals, I consider the leftists to be a mortal enemy. See my tagline.
Given the current state and direction of our government, that may be a reasonable position for them to take.
I know most of us consider the government to be a threat to freedom lovers, and potential fighting enemy to us.
We haven't moved in our political positions, they have, and it looks like it's coming down to us versus them.

So the same government that won’t say “Islamic terrorist” has no problem calling its own citizens terrorists. Why am I not surprised?

I’ve always held that I am not — never was — seeking the overthrow of the United States government. Not in the least. We have the best system of government ever devised.
But the corrupt donkeys running the place, screwing up our lives and ruining our country before our very eyes, deserve a good tar-and-feathering at best, or a length of rope and a lamp post.
