Essentially there is no Republican Party — they refuse to stand for anything, and as such have proven that all their speeches in recent years were just so much hot air. — Remember that they have the House, which controls funding, and before that had the Presidency. What have they done in making progress toward any of their party planks?

I am reminded of the parable of the talents — they took what we gave them and buried it; why shouldn't we take away even that which they have?
