Context is everything.

Given the discussion i was engaged in, John the Baptist has nothing to do with the topic. Furthermore, John the Baptist wasn’t being psychoanalyzed. Nor was he “deemed” crazy enough to eat locust and wild honey. What you described is not in the Bible. John lived a solitary life. He lived a simple life, and the camel’s hair, leather belt, and his diet is testimony of his practical means.
