Thanks, RH.

Important distinction:

Fraudulent Voters
Election Fraud

Of course, the two are related, but it shows how far fraud has become systematized as part of the process.

As far as this momentum thing goes, I believe it is true and that it shows good tactical thinking on the part of the Democrats. They save their money for a last-minute media blast, which of course also has the effect of masking the massive fraud preparations under way. I see the same thinking in FL.

The "Republicans" (whatever the heck THEY are) also seem somewhat deficient in modern media strategy, that is the campaigns are not, IMNVHO, region-specific (and market-specific) enough. In these days when I can be targeted by one ad, and you, my next-door neighbor, can get a totally different message, the "Republicans" are stuck with a "one-size-fits-all " 50's" media mentality.

Corrupt voter rolls, rampant fraud at the polls, and feckless and inefficient opposition: can the one-party state have already arrived? We'll see. Let's hope the non-democrat victory in the Senate does not suddenly evaporate.

After all these years of democrats chaos since 2006, are people really still clamoring for more?

No, but regular posters here are mostly ignorant of how hated the GOP is.

Part of this is successful enemy propaganda, part of it is the Republicans' own spinelessness and lack of definition.

But, be that as it may, an election which should be a rout is very close.

I have posted before that the most likely outcome (which is also the worst) is a 50-50 split with Alison Grimes, Michelle Nunn, Susan Collins, Patty Murray, Diane Feinstein, and Barbara Boxer forming a feminist caucus which will play the same balancing (and destructive) role that Irish Unionists played in the UK Parliament for so many years up to 1911.

Yep, they sure are. They're the ones Romney correctly identified as voting solidly for bigger & more government because that 47% isn't paying for the bigger & more government -- they're the ones benefitting from it.

We pay, they sit on their asses eating gubmint cheese, watching cable TV, driving new cars and complaining that the Government doesn't do enough for them.

Yep, that 47% is just growing, and growing, and growing under Obama. You can bet your ass they'll show up to vote to "keep what's theirs" too.

I’m seeing 3 Nunn ads to every one and the Perdue ads need more that “she would vote with Obama”..pretty lame campaign sad this guy is the best GA could do

I'm not too thrilled with Perdue, but I could see where his campaign has accepted that there will be a runoff and is only doing what is absolutely necessary to prevent Nunn from reaching a majority and saving as much money as they can for the runoff.

Of the many failures of republicans, the one that stands out the most to me is their lack of courage.

“she/he would vote with Obama” seems to be the only message the Republican nationwide have this year. To paraphrase your remark: Pretty lame campaign(s). Is this the best American can do?

The establishment Republicans are driving the party into the ground with their lack of action and articulation.

I'd go ahead and vote Perdue anyways.

I'm going to.

A vote for Nunn is a vote for Obama’s agenda. A vote for Perdue is at least a vote against Obama’s agenda. Look down deep and decide which is more important.

They have the Dem media PR talking points down to the art form.

CNN has zero credibility and the Cox family own the Dem party in GA. and there left wing newsletter is a joke.< All these push polls always overstate the third party vote to make there push polls to fit the the talking points.

These Dem media PR blitzes are meant to create an illusion of momentum for the Rats and to create disillusion on the Gop side. Everyone wants to back a winner strategy the Dem media knows very well.

Yeah, right; all the momentum is with the Dems.

That’s why the newest governor poll shows the Republican with a 5 point lead. (Before, it was head to head.)

GA - 2014 Governor:

Nathan Deal 46%

Jason Carter 41%

Same thing happened in Washington State. I grew up in Colorado and when we moved here, I wouldn’t say it was a totally red state, but it certainly wasn’t as liberal/Marxist as it is now - - primarily on the I-5 corridor. Eastern WA is pretty much Republican.

Californians moved up here in the 80x-90s, increased the price of housing and brought their other liberal values with them.

As other FReepers have noted in other parts of the country, they ruin the area they lived in due to liberal policies then move to a red state and bring they same politics and beliefs with them and ruin that area or state.

It is also because the republicans stand for nothing.

There’s no compelling reason to vote unless the democrat is an unacceptable lefty and Nunn reminds voters in Georgia of her conservative father.

Nunn is low key and does not drive enough republicans to the polls to vote against her. With the republicans standing for nothing, there’s no reason to turn out the conservative grass roots to get behind Perdue.

It’s pretty hard asking a GA person not to do the inevitable: vote for a Nunn and a Carter.

There’s a good chance many in GA think this Perdue is the former governor Perdue. Just like some of the Virginians no knowing the difference between John and Mark Warner.

Perdue has done absolutely NOTHING to help himself. In the summer he had a large lead partly because Nunn's strategy became public. She grew up in Maryland, not Georgis, and is nothing more than an 0bama rubber stamp. You can guess where her main strength lies, in Holder's people.

She went on the offensive and pointed out that Perdue:

-Not only outsourced jobs as CEO of Dollar General, but he arrogantly defended those actions;
-She has trotted out a succession of country (many missing teeth) women to claim Perdue waged a war on women by not paying them as much as men;
-She claimed Perdue enriched himself at the expense of shareholders.

I haven't seen Perdue answer or counter any of these claims, he merely seems to be trying to hold on. Nunn has outspent him (with the aid of the national dems) on ads. His newest ad is his Momma talking about how he was a good hard working boy. Nice, but I don't think it will change many minds.

He needs to go back on the attack:

-Nunn claims her [so-called] "charity" work, which benefited Hamas, was part of Bush Sr's 1000 Points of Light. Not sure if that is true;
- He needs to double down on Nunn's willingness to do whatever 0bama wants, Not what Georgian want. Like eerywhere, 0bama is hated here, and Georgia has suffered, and constinues to suffer from some of the worst job losses in the Country;
- He needs to re-emphasize that Nunn is from Maryland, NOT Georgia, and does not share Southern values, culture, beliefs, etc. She is not her daddy.

He is running on being a Washington outsider, and needs to tell what that means, including emphasizing The Constitution, stand against gun control, free speech, anti-0bamacare, etc..

I think Kingston despite his drawbacks would have been the better candidate. The really conservative candidates never made it to a runoff, as they split up each other’s voter base.

Very few Republican ads take the gloves off. The ones here accuse Ann Kirkpatrick of voting to raise the debt ceiling numerous times. Wow, that's tough stuff. The Democrats meanwhile use personal attacks accusing the GOP of everything but hanging around outside school playgrounds.

The GOP is a weak bunch of toadies. Before the angry crowd arrives here accusing us of not voting and being responsible for every calamity they can think of, I already voted straight GOP. Won't accomplish a damn thing. The squids do this to us every election. The Dems are the power party, and they lie, cheat and steal elections and rule ruthlessly. The GOP just bends over.

Roger that.

Over the past three years I got to know Jack Kingston and his staff about as well as any citizen could expect to know their CongressCritter.

Jack is a good man and was quite unfairly maligned on FR.
