Hillary Clinton was elected to the Senate, and she was Secretary of State.
Did she run for President after merely being the First Lady?
It is absurd for a private citizen to just flat out run for President. All I'm saying is that it's best to run for a lower office first and get elective office experience. You can mention Obama or Hillary until the cows come home, but it's basically a non-sequitur argument.
So you are saying just ignore the fact that when she was First Wife to BJ all her decisions and orders were not mandated to be assumed as coming from the-rapist-in-chief?
Seems rather shortsighted. And she was not legally qualified to serve in the Senate (her residency being a sham), let alone being upheld as a valid SoS especially considering all the shady goings on attributed to her not only when she was acting in that post (besides the Benghazi atrocities) but going back all the way to the Watergate actions -for which she was rightly fired at the time.
I do not agree that you need to be a recognized part of the political machinery prior to being elected to an important position, whatever that may be. Some of our greatest presidents had no ties to previous political service and the underlying political machinery before attaining their rightful places as some of the greatest statesmen in our nation’s history.
