It’s not a new school of economics, It’s the Soviet school of economics
In a sense she is right. Consumers create jobs. (Hey - everybody likes phones. I’ll make a phone that doesn’t use wires and I’ll bet people buy them!)
The only trouble is, now so many of the consumers get government funds in order to buy food and stuff. So - the government creates jobs (by giving money to poor people that don’t need jobs because the government gives them money).
So the government on one hand destroys jobs (by allowing people not to work), and creates jobs (by giving the poor people money).
In a private market-place, there would be MUCH larger job creation, as everyone would be striving to do something to be able to get something in return.
Trouble is, we still have the same voting pool that bought into obama’s “you didn’t build it”.
