Hillary: 'Don't Let Anybody Tell You' That 'Businesses Create Jobs'

Appearing at a Boston rally for Democrat gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley on Friday, Hillary Clinton told the crowd gathered at the Park Plaza Hotel not to listen to anybody who says that “businesses create jobs.”

“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,” Clinton said.

“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she continued. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”

“You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic,’” Clinton said, which elicited loud laughs from the crowd.

Yes, government bureaucrats in back rooms created all the jobs in industry. Henry Ford, J.P. Morgan and the rest....minor players compared to some gov. hirees. She's implying that all of the incumbent government types just couldn't handle all of the hard stuff because they were no good at math, or didn't use it at all, and she had to rescue all of them and us with her no-nonsense pragmatic mathematical wizardy. Kind of like: my husband couldn't balance the checkbook, so I had to take over and use math."

For the Clintons, when you want a job created, you pressure your friends and business partners to put one of your family members on the payroll. They don’t have to show up to do the work, but you have to give them a monthly salary. Another way the Clintons create jobs is to get your political flunkies to act as a go-between to offer your girlfriend a government job so she’ll keep her mouth shut.

Without the jobs created by business and industry, there would be no government jobs, as there would be no economic activity or profits to tax.

Government is just a support system so business can exist. Except lately, government has lost their way and think everything revolves around government.

Cut government regulations and meddling with business, and watch the job market explode, or keep squeezing and choking American business and watch it wither away as it has been doing under the progressives and Marxists.
