I agree with you.

I used to watch the current show, Blue Bloods. I don't have TV anymore but you can watch it online. A week ago they did a Boo hoo hoo show about homosexual officers. The main character, Frank Regan, is a solid Irish catholic and there are family Sunday dinners that used to include prayer. They had him say in a press conference (in the episode) that homosexuals should marry, the church is behind the times.

In an earlier episode, Danny Reagan was very very sympathetic with the plight of a homosexual.

I think Blue Blood writers have been instructed to make sure that the Reagan family couldn't possibly be Republicans. Why? I cannot fathom.

Somebodies at CBS are well on their way to killing the show.
