What happened on the night in question wasn’t funny. It was humiliating and frightening. The broken ribs, black eyes, and messed up elbows and knees suffered by people in our party that night were no laughing matter. Neither were Bristol’s bruises on her arms and leg from being dragged by a man. My kids aren’t proud of what happened, nor are they seeking sympathy by playing the victim card – that’s why they haven’t commented on this for all these weeks. Instead, they had to have faith that the truth would come out, despite those who did the cold-cocking actually using social media to brag, “’bout to get famous!” Screen shots of tweets captured their bold intentions, and they’ve certainly enjoyed the publicity.
Looking at the reports, it strikes me as bitterly ironic that the same people who tell us there is a “war on women” have no problem laughing at the recording of my daughter crying as she tells police about being assaulted by a man. I’d like to say shame on the media and those on the left laughing at her or at any young woman in a similar situation, but I no longer think they have any shame.
Now Todd and I are headed to an exciting middle school girl’s basketball game along with dozens of other families proud to cheer on their daughters.

No there is no shame and the Palin family and has been is a classic example of liberal bigotry. Here’s another example, the same psychotic liberal women declaring themselves as victims of the “war on women”, think nothing of aborting their little baby girls, tucked away, what should be safely in their womb. These innocent future women, don’t realize that in the feminist’s sick perverted world, every unborn is conveniently of the male gender.

As one of Sarah’s biggest supporters, I just find myself wondering HOW she found herself at a party with these caliber people?
I mean I’ve been to hundreds of parties but never one where my daughter would have endured being pushed to the ground, dragged across the ground, called the C word, the B word and been bruised and so on. Kudos for Todd’s and Tracks restraint, someone would have been dead if they had done that to my daughter.
I would give odds that the person inviting them was one of Todd’s racing buddies. I use to race all the time and some of the “hangers on” back then might have done something stupid like this all boozed up.
There has been an abundance of Viking Kitty Food on the Sarah Palin threads here lately. Anyone who considers themselves the least bit conservative but still justifies bashing or strongly disagreeing with Sarah is fundamentally flawed or an outright troll IMHO and ought to move on to DU where they belong.

Why doesn’t Bristol press charges?
Of course I don’t blame her for being angry. But they don’t care. In fact, the madder she gets, the more they’re loving it.
How brutal is the political landscape in this day and age. But you’ve got to be thick skinned in dealing with these scoundrels.
Sarah’s weakness is her family. That is why she’s not running for office. The Left (and some of the Right) want to keep it that way.
IMO...Sarah needs to somehow get a handle on the family matters....rather than play along with the media and make them political issues.
Even if she IS a media-celebrity more than anything else...there’s a price to pay when you play in their game and she at one time wouldn’t play, rather stuck to the issues and hammered those home. Now it’s just beginning to look like a media/Palin soap-opera....played for not so convincing political points.

CNN didn’t actually apologize at all. The point of an apology is to tell the person you wronged, you’re sorry. CNN didn’t do that at all
Meanwhile the daughters in the White House are guarded round the clock to be sure they don’t succomb to the smooth talk of a brother and get knocked up as do many many DC girls of color
Every day I am more and more convinced that Bristol will succeed Gov Palin as POTUS.
