I think public drunkenness is illegal. It’s a misdemeanor. Not that I know anything about that, lol.

Whether Bristol was the assaulter or the assaulted remains an open question. There are 8-10 witness statements in the police report that contradict her claims.

There are claims that your account of these accounts remains an open question. Not 6 or 7, not 11 or 12, but precisely 8, 9 or 10 witnesses. Perhaps you were the one who counted the number of (drunk as a skunk) witnesses.

If there were charges, they would be pursued by a local prosecutor as criminal charges, not a civil law suit, tho the Palins could sue for damages, i.e., cost of medical bills, pain and suffering, any lost time from work, that type of thing. But the primary ‘charges,’ i.e., assault, theft, are criminal. Someone would have to “PRESS” charges. The Palins probably figured, as you note, that the aggravation wouldn’t be worth it to pursue either the criminal or civil cases.

That’s what I love about Sarah. She always shoots back. Always.

Probably the first time in history someone was drunk at a party.

I never referred to Sarah. I said Bristol's behavior was not the best model for her child. Do you disagree?

I see your point now. Your postings on this thread, all along, were out of concern for Bristol's son Tripp's safety and overall wellbeing. You're too kind.

Palin’s weakness is the media. The MSM has set the perception and that’s what is killing her among the non liberal dems.

We see it all the time, in news shows, tv shows, movies. All bashed Bush and all have positively promoted Obama or his agenda.

I can like what she does and represents while disliking some things, too. A growing number of our citizenry is totally influenced by media. It’s all they see and it sets their perception.

One thing about Liberals, they stick together. You can let a girl drown so you don’t get a DUI and they’ll still cover your back.

Conservatives? Heck a young woman can get assaulted and we’re looking for a reason to condemn her.

So, THAT'S what the Marxist focus groups are showing: Palin has countered and largely overcome the media bias these past six years and is finding more common ground with "non-liberal" Dem women. Suspected that.

Public drunkenness is a misdemeanor that law enforcement chooses to acknowledge or not. It also depends on the State.

Exactly. And even if they did, it could be contested in court.

Which witnesses had not been drinking alcohol?

Which of these witnesses doesn’t have priors?

Which witnesses may yet be arrested for making false statements to the police?

11 names; 11 witnesses. One or more may have reason to lie. Do you disagree?

As you know, as everyone should know, the media rules are different for dems. The entire Kennedy family, as well as Biden’s family, and many more I’m sure are held to a different standard by the media.

Dull factoid. Your point eludes.

I do not disagree. But the same could be said of Bristol. As I noted, who was the attacker remains an open question that will probably never be resolved unless there is video of the altercation and it is released.

Twink, you're just full of tidbits tonight. What else do you know that you can tell us about any one of the Palins? At FR, lurkers may rely on Twink to guide them in what and how to think about the Palin family, perhaps.
