WASHINGTON -- Nina Pham, the Dallas nurse being treated at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, is now Ebola-free and will be discharged, CBS News reports.
She contracted the virus after treating Thomas Eric Duncan, who died from the disease, at a hospital in Dallas. A second nurse who also developed Ebola after treating Duncan has also recovered from the virus.
NIH officials are expected to make a statement at 11:30 a.m.
perhaps to get ebola now and recover in a nice controlled hospital environment and now be immune is a blessing in disguise.
Good. Now she is free to marry me.
No news on the condition of her boyfriend. Why?
“Ebola free and hundreds of thousands in medical bills.”
I am 100% sure that 100% of the cost will be covered by workers compensation insurance.
She would hit you.
Ebola epidemic will explode by mid-December and kill tens of thousands of people, scientists warn
This is unless international efforts to control virus are increased
Researchers used mathematical modelling to predict infection rates
Said Liberia’s most populated county could see 90,000 deaths by December
Single infected individual in the county could pass on infection to 2.5 people
Introducing controls by October 31 could avert 97,940 cases of the disease
Experts called for more treatment beds and more protective kits
Also want a five-fold increase in the speed at which new cases are detected
Well, if Infowars is reporting it, it MUST be true....
Yes.
She and the other nurse got their treatment for free. All of the others had to pay.
I’m happy she’s well.
Excellent news!
There was a statement by some spokesman for the NIH a while back (sorry, can’t cite the exact source) that her care was free because the NIH was publicly funded. I know, that means that we all pay for it, but no charge to the patient.
Yeah, Im sure Duncan’s “estate” and “family members” will pick up the tab
YES!
I love her and wish to bear her many children.
Exactly. She did everything right after treating the African infector.
Happy to hear she’s recovered.
...”Good. Now she is free to marry me.”...
I knew all you guys would be thinking something like that. She is very cute.
I WILL MARRY HER.
Not sure what it means, but I’m sure you’re thanking God for that ( and you seem to have mentioned Mary too ) in Vietnamese.
RE: Good. Now she is free to marry me.
For that, you’ll have to wish her boyfriend ill. :(
