Very hard to get enthused about him or even to care what happens to him personally.
Without internals this poll is meaningless. Looked but couldn’t find it. Likely voters 565 is all I could find
‘Looks like Perdue is fading. Was it the outsourcing remark, or Georgia voters in love with the Nunn name?’
Mostly the outsourcing remark. Nunn pounced & Perdue didn’t come back aggressively. She also appears to have a better organized ground game, but that is just one person’s impression.
So, when the RATs hold the Senate in an off-year election, then what?
Demographics my FRiend, demographics. Ozzie and Harriet have passed away.
It means the country has shifted decidedly leftward. The GOP had three shots to take the Senate and squandered two. This is the final opportunity of the three. The door closes after this year.
Georgia is a 50% state I believe. Just need to keep Nutty Nunn from getting there, therefore a runoff. Perdue should be able to capture most of the Libertarians from the general to make it real interesting. That and Im sure the LIV probably cant be bothered to get to the polls twice in 6 weeks.
GOP had better figure this out and figure it out fast.
You CAN NOT run candidates who have IN ANY WAY had their fingerprints ANYWHERE NEAR job outsourcing, or the backlash will take your head off.
Happened to Romney and is happening here.
What did Purdue say about outsourcing?
Perdue needs to get aggressive and tie Nunn to Obama.
The only saving grace here is that Georgia is a runoff state. Neither candidate is likely to get to 50%. Odds are that LIVs are not going to show up on January 6th when the runoff will occur.
Well here’s the bad thing about GA. It IS trending blue due to a huge influx of Libtards. This is another State where the demographic shift is ending Conservatism.
Scary times.
I’m just citing this from memory, but I believe it was in a debate with Nunn, and she accused him, as CEO of Dollar General, of outsourcing. He said he was proud of making a good business decision, on behalf of the stockholders, to outsource.
The rest is history. [I think he went on to mumble jumble the reason for outsourcing—punitive taxes, etc., but nothing would have mattered after his opening comeback. Nunn was going to bombard him with ads denouncing outsourcing...and she did.]
Female voters are going for Nunn by double digits. Combine this with the demographic issue, and Georgia might be giving us problems in the future.
Voter fraud pending...maybe it’s true.
I’d never given her much of a chance....then again, dems do cheat.
Does Georgia have early voting? This is going to really tick me off if the GOP blows it in all these red states (NC included).
Yes we do!
It’s ridiculous!
Demographics my FRiend, demographics. Ozzie and Harriet have passed away.
**********
The culture in this country is becoming increasingly liberal. Sad trend.
Perdue seems to have no core values ...

Then he’s a perfect GOP candidate. /sarc
