Political correctness is preventing Obama from banning West African flights. Ebola has the potential for doing to Obama what Katrina did to Bush. While a certain % will always vote Dem because of the Damocles Sword dangling over certain programs under a GOP administration, the Dem claim to competence has been severely shaken. Even the true believers (i.e. middle income and wealthy Dems voting against their own interests) have to be wondering about their bedrock political belief that Dems know better. Independents are probably deserting the Dems en masse.

This will be a good test to see if this thing is airborne, because if he took the subway from Harlem all the way to Brooklyn, that is a hell of a long ride with a lot of stops going through main terminals which no doubt at times resulted in people standing shoulder to shoulder in that car, if not all the way if it was rush hour. People standing THAT close is the ultimate test if this thing can be caught through the air. If it can be, that city is effed in the worst way. NYC is ridiculously over populated and I could see how one guy could easily infect 100s of people with one subway ride.
