That is all very sad and so illustrative of why we’re in this mess. If I remember correctly, in the early days after 9/11 we had US troops in airports, but they had no ammo, or they were at least unloaded.
I wonder if the Old Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown are armed so they can defend themselves and others.
