That would work and makes perfect sense. For those 2 reasons, our government will not do it.

Not even close.
Consider this thing is like a wild fire. It is burning out of control in West Africa. Every day people leave that area. They like embers floating on the wind. They are going to land wherever that wind is going to take it.
We are not even close to this being under control.

A health care worker at the hospital said that Dr. Spencer seemed very sick and it was unclear to the medical staff why he had not gone to the hospital earlier, since his fever was high, at 103. Probably because he already knew.

You cant get ebola from going to a bowling alley. Yet another entry in this year's 'Famous Last Words' competition.

I realize you’re joking. But there are noted behavioral abnormalities in ebola patients. I wonder if the urge to be social is one way it spreads itself. Hmmm

.. one of whom has now been pronounced free of the disease. Given those 'in charge' of this CF, would you trust your childrens' proximity to that diagnosis ?

There was a case taken to Emory, but they would not release his/her name, because that person wanted privacy. I believe it was a healthcare worker returned from Africa.

Pray to Dr Spencer. I hope he survivesSo do I. Don't think he'll get off the hook for his dumb behavior like the earlier ones did, though.

I wonder if the urge to be social is one way it spreads itself. HmmmIsn't there a disease or parasite that infects mice and then destroys their instinctive fear of cats, the preferred host of the thing in question? So it's not unheard of here on God's green erf.

There should be a place that potential ebola exposure cases could go to wait out the 21 days.
There would be no way that I would return to my apartment after working on an Ebola patient.
Hospital employees and other health care workers should demand a room on hospital grounds, or a safe place to stay when returning to this country from W Africa , so they would not contaminate their homes.
i collect antiques, and I would rather live in the street for 21 days rather than risk my collection, and my dogs, being destroyed. I would not want to go near my husband during that time period.
I also think a 21 day quarantine should be mandatory for health care workers returning from W Africa.

It was reported that the doctor was sluggish with fever, nausea and gastrointestinal issues while riding the subway to Brooklyn Wednesday evening. If he was sweaty from fever he possibly was shedding virus on every doorknob and handrail let alone everything he touched at the bowling alley,
