Damn right. Carter is the real father of modern day Islamic Terrorism.
Well at best he destabilized the region. The Iraq/Iran war was estimated to have cost a massive amount of military and civilian lives. Estimates range in excess of a million people dead, because the Shah was removed and Hussein thought he could take out the Ayatollahs.
Carter was directly responsible for that destabilization.
