Germany: Holy War Erupts in Hamburg
Gatestone Institute ^ | October 15, 2014 | Soeren Kern

Parts of downtown Hamburg, the second-largest city in Germany, resembled a war zone after hundreds of supporters of the jihadist group Islamic State [IS] engaged in bloody street clashes with ethnic Kurds.

The violence—which police say was as ferocious as anything seen in Germany in recent memory—is fueling a sense of foreboding about the spillover effects of the fighting in Syria and Iraq.

Some analysts believe that rival Muslim groups in Germany are deliberately exploiting the ethnic and religious tensions in the Middle East to stir up trouble on the streets of Europe.

Not in the least. Just observing is all. The west keeps importing these dangerous elements. It’s like a big mass suicide and not confined to Germany.

It’s hard to believe such madness comes from the same country that produced Goethe, Beethoven, and Leibnitz.

Same country produced Marx, Nietszche and Schikelgruber (yeah, yeah I know he was born in Austria)

The leftist punk hippies there report cops who “brutalize” arabs....

And I have seen Turks fighting each other in Frankfurt, grabbing rocks from train tracks and going at it. i never saw so many Polizei Waggons rolling by to the scene.

Stupid Western politicians importing folks who carry all the old hatreds of the world to be played out on their city streets and in their schools and other institutions.

No, the Kurds, IMHO, are the good guys, and aren’t importing these bad habits because even in their homeland they are not extremists...

Best for Germany to keep the Kurds, throw out all the rest.

Kurds are Muslim but they aren’t radical like the Arabs. What’s up with that?

True, but they are still one side of imported rivalries being played out on the streets of Germany: Kurds vs. supporters of the Islamic State.

And I doubt either side will be thrown out. The article doesn’t specifically identify the supporters of IS, but many are probably Turks who are likely German citizens.

Pretty amazing that so many Muslims in Germany would support the savages that make up the IS, but I guess their old country origins determine which side they choose.
